I grew up and Bend and feel the BCD is essential to maintaining the livability of the city now and into the future.

What’s the one piece of advice you would give the BCD if it were a person?

Don't be too hard on yourself. You will grow and develop into a unique and essential part of this world, so enjoy the journey.

What’s your hope for the BCD as it redevelops?

Long before the million dollar 5 story mixed use building, I hope there will be an early activation phase made up of creative inexpensive projects that work to shape the look and the feel of the area.

What’s your fear for the BCD as it redevelops?

We lose the character of what makes Bend, Bend.

How would you like to be remembered?

A person who died trying.
